JOSIAH JONES, m. SUSANNAH BENNETT, of Ashby, Nov. 22, 1770. He resided in the south-east part of Ashby, near Lunenburg, was a farmer, and owned a saw-mill ; d. May 5, 1787, a. 42. His wife wash, at Groton, Mh. 16, 1754 — d. Mh. 4, 1824, a. 70. He was a famous singer, and was leader of the church choir in Ashby many years.
