- AMOS LOCKE, m. SARAH LOCKE, 1769. She was an orphan, whose true name is now lost, who was adopted and brought up by Thomas Locke. He d. July 27, 1828, a. 85 ; she d. July, 1835, a. 84. He was one of the company who met the British on Lex. Common, Ap. 19, 1775. He resided in the north part of Lex. on the farm now owned by William Locke.
