  • WILLIAM LOCKE, m. GRACE NEWELL, of Cambridge ; Int. May 12, 1747. They resided in Lex. and perhaps for a short time in Wob. and Waltham. He was a soldier in the Revolution ; was in the battles of Ticonderoga and White Plains, and d. in the Army in 1776, a. 56. His wid. afterwards resided at Waltham, and was appointed Administrati'ix on his estate, Sep. 4, 1782, At a later period she resided with her son Jonas at Lex., where she d. Dec. 31, 1790, a. 63; and was buried in the grave-yard at East Lex.
