- JEMIMA LOCKE, m. EBENEZER BROOKS, Oct. 28, 1736 They resided at Wob. where she d. Nov, 5, 1774, a, 56. He then m. her cousin Wid. ELIZABETH (LOCKE) SYMMES, [76] wid, of Zachariah Symmes and the dau. of Francis Locke, [12] Nov. 15, 1776. She d, his wid, Mh. 1803 a. nearly 88. His death is not ascertained. He was a housewright, and Nov. 18 1783, he sold to James Locke, of Woburn, all his " estate both real and personal in Wob," It is related of this family that the chil. of three different mar riages resided under one roof in the most perfect harmony ; viz. the chil. of Mr Brooks, by his first wf. and the chil. of Mr. Symmes by both his wives. Mr Brooks was the son of Jabez and Hepsebah, of Woburn, and was b. June 1, 1712 (For the Symmes' family, see par. 46.) V, Chil, by Mr. Brooks.
