  SARAH LOCKE. m. SAMUEL SNOW, Jr. of Wob. June 10, 1718. He was b. in that part of Wob. now included in Wilmington, Aug. 24, 1692, and was the son of Lieut. Samuel, who was b. Feb. 8, 1669, who was the son of Samuel, b. May 28, 1647, who was the son of Richard, who emigrated to New England. Samuel, Jr. with his father Lieut. Samuel, purchased a large tract of land in Ashford, Con. in 1724 ; in which year they both removed to that town, where they resided and became prominent and influential men, often holding the most important town offices. Samuel, Jr. d. Dec. 24, 1756, a. 64, and his wid. Nov. 16, 1790, a. 94.
