- Benjamin Fessenden, b. Jany. 9, 1733/34 ; m. 1st, Hannah Lash, about 1754. . 61; m. 2nd, Barbara Calder. Since the above was in type I have learned that by his 2. wf. he had 1041 Hannah, b. June 18, 1725 ; d. Jany 19, 1726. 1042 Hannah, b. Ap. 21, 1727 - and 1043 Submit, b May 28, 1736.
BENJAMIN FESSENDEN, m. 1. HANNAH LASH, prob. of Charlestown or Boston, about 1754 ; he d. leaving two sons. 2. m. BARBARA CALDER, dau. of Dr. Rob't Calder, who m. Hannah Lawrence, of Charlestown, where he resided. Doct. Calder was from Scotland, was a surgeon in the British Navy, and d. at sea about 1742. Benjamin Fessenden resided in Milton, Braintree, Watertown and Boston. He d. at Boston, Ap. 30, 1801, a. 68, and his wid. d. in Boston, Aug. 6, 1802, a. 70. He was noted for his great strength, but on some occasion having overtaxed his powers, he received an mjury which made him a cripple the rest of his life.
