  • Samuel, b. July 5, 1718. He lived in Lex. unmd. and there died. His

    father left a large property for those days in lands and personal estate, including several slaves, which the son inherited, after the decease of his mother. The Real Estate was appraised at $600. Aug. 1771, he sold " from 140 to 170" acres of land, to Benjamin Estabrooks and Joshua Reed of Lex. ; and before he d. he contrived to spend all his patrimony, having a great taste for fine horses and fine clothes, and d. poor about 1800 ; and thus this branch of the family became extinct.
