  • ISAAC MUNROE, m. 1. MARY HUTCHINSON, of Charlestown, Dec. 25, 1760. 2. m. Wid. LYDIA CALDWELL, of Woburn, June 26, 1791. He was Deacon of the Baptist Church at Menotomy, now West Camb., where he resided most of his life, a small portion of which was passed at Charlestown. " He was a man of pleasing person and manners, and of great humor and vivacity, and was highly respected." He d. July 17, 1791, from the sting of a bee which attacked him as he was riding through the woods, leaving his 2d wf. the 2d time a wid. after a marriage of 21 days. [She m. for a 3d husband Aaron Munroe, of Shrewsbury, lived there a few years, moved to Fitchburg or vicinity, where her husband d., and she returned to Shrewsbury, where she d. Feb. 1846, leaving no chil. by the last marriage.] Chil. by 1st wf. prob. b. at West Camb.
