  Hon. JOHN FESSENDEN, m. ELIZABETH WYMAN, Nov. 23, 1769, the dau. of Ross Wyman. Mr. Fessenden resided at Rutland, was a very prominent man in town affairs, a member of the Provincial Congress of Mass., representative from Rutland several years, and senator in the Mass. Legislature from Worcester County about seven years. During the revolution he was appointed a commissioner to sell confiscated estates, and until his decease was an acting magistrate. He d. Ap. 7 or 14, 1793, a. 64.
