Ebenezer Locke
- 1816- Ebenezer, bap. at Lex. Mh. 2, 1735 ; m. Lucy Wood, Feb. 27, 1759. EBENEZER LOCKE, m. LUCY WOOD, at Wob, Feb. 22 or 27, 1757. He was a farmer and resided in Wob. until about 1772. Mh. 9, 1765, he purchased of his mother and his sisters, " all the estate of their father Ebenezer Locke, deceased, both real and personal." At the time of his marriage he was called Ebenezer the 3d ; at the time of the purchase above, Jr. - Dec. 10, 1772, he sold to his brother-in-law, Thomas Newman, a farm in Wob., and is the same Ebenezer who mortgaged, Dec. 12, 1772, seventy acres of land in Wob. to John Borland, of Cambridge. His wife is supposed to have d. prior to this period, and about which time he moved with his sons to Deering, N. H., where he d, Sep. 12, 1816, a. 82.
