  Phebe, bap. at Lex. Mh. 7, 1731 ; m. Ebenezer Meriam, Jr.PHEBE LOCKE, m. EBENEZER MERIAM, .Jr., the son of Ebenezer Meriam, Sen'r by his wife Esther Gleason, and whose second wife was Elizabeth Locke, sister of Phebe (see Par. 51). This presents a rather unusual circumstance of father and son marrying sisters. Ebenezer, Jr., was b. Mh. 28, 1734, and d.. July 16, 1795, a. 61. She d. Oct. 27, 1802, a. 71. They resided at " Country Gore," which is now a part of Oxford.
