  FRANCIS LOCKE m. RUTH FESSENDEN, Sep. 13, 1743, at King's Chapel in Boston, the dau. of Rev. Benjamin Fessenden, of Sandwich, but adopted by her uncle Samuel Winship, of Camb., who was High Sheriff of Middlesex (Jo. Mr. Locke resided in West Camb. at the " Foot of the Rocks " at the corner of the main road and the road leading to Woburn. The house is now standing, and is the same that was owned by his father, and is now owned by Stephen Locke. He was a tanner ; he d. Mh. 19, 1778, a. 57 ; and his wid. d. Sep. 8, 1807, a. 83. (a) In the record of his marriage and that of his bro. Elisha, the name is erroneously written Willington on the Cambridge Records. Y. GENERATION. 41
