  Ruhamah, b. Ap. 23, 1705 ; 1. m. Benjamin Whittemore, June 15, 1726. 33 2. John Bond.RUHAMAH LOCKE, m. 1. BENJAMIN WHITTEMORE, of Concord, June 15, 1726, who d. Oct. 22, 1734, at Concord. He was the son of Benjamin, who was b. in Cambridge, and who md. Esther Brooks, Aug. 17, 1692, and the gr. son of John of Camb. He was b. Ap. 9, 1696. The wid. Ruhamah, 2. md. JOHN BOND, (son of Thomas, of Watertown,) in 1735, who resided at Lexington. She was his 2. wf. and by her he had Ruhamah, who d. Oct. 25, 1746, (another record says July 25, 1746.) Mr. Bond, in his will dated Ap. 24, 1769, mentions his wf Ruhamah, Joshua, his oldest child, and dau. Lucy. Whether or not Lucy was a dau. by his 2. marriage, I know not. I have not ascertained when the wid. d. or what became of her chil. by the 1. marriage. She was appointed their guardian soon after the decease of Mr. Whittemore.
