  JAMES LOCKE, m. 1. REBECCA WILDER, Feb. 2, 1762, who d. Mh. 9, 1769, a. 28. She was dau. of Col. Joseph and Deborah> (Josselyn) Wilder, of Lancaster, and was b. Mh. 18, 1741. He m. 2. MARTHA WRIGHT, dau. of Nathaniel Wright, of Lancaster. Mr. Locke d. Jany. or March 19, 1772, and his wid. m. Joseph Lewis, Dec. 14, 1773. James Locke was a constable for several years in Lancaster, and resided on a farm in the northeasterly part of the Second Precinct, which his father bought of Tilley Wilder.
