Samuel Locke

Samuel Locke

Male 1748 -

  • F219 Samuel, b. Aug. 14, 1748.

F219 Samuel Locke, born Aug. 14, 1748. Nothing further authentic is known of him, but at the request of a Locke I add the following: A Samuel Locke was impressed on the British Ship "Little Belt" from a "Market Town" in New England.

He was at the siege of Londonderry, and was discharged from the English Navy in Nova Scotia in 1802 aged 54. His 1st wife is unknown; married 2nd, Hannah Wood. He is buried in the Churchyard at Digby, N. S. These Samuels may be identical. (Great doubt of these descendants being from John Locke.)
