    F191 Edward Locke, bapt. in 1747 at Rye, and lived at Locke's Corner, Farmington. He may have had at least one son whose descent is given by tradition. Edward is said to have been with Washington at Valley Forge. John Knight and wife Temperance of Newington gave Edward Locke land in Rochester Dec. 4, 1769. This might be a gift to Edward, Sr., or to Edward, Jr., perhaps a son-in-law.
