  • PRUDENCE WEBSTER, born on Dec. 25, 1744, died in St. Andrew's, N. B. Canada, married in Georgetown, Maine, May 7, 1764 TIMOTHY BLAKE, born in Kensington, N.H., Jan. 6, 1740, died in Castine, Maine. He was the fourth child of Moses and Mehitable (Smith). At the age of 20, he enlisted in Capt. Jeremiah Marston's Company, under Col. John Goff, for Crown Point and the invasion of Canada. After nearly a year's service, he returned and settled in the area of Bagaduce (now Penobscot, Maine) in 1762. At that time his origin was described as from Kittery, Maine.
